Summary We’re looking for a highly skilled, detail?oriented
Deployment Engineer who thrives in a fast?paced data center
environment and takes pride in delivering high?quality
infrastructure work. The ideal team member brings deep hands?on
experience with hardware deployments, decommissioning, structured
cabling, and full lifecycle installation of network and server
equipment. They excel at technical project coordination,
communicating clearly with vendors and cross?functional partners,
and managing multiple priorities with precision. This person
demonstrates strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities,
approaches challenges with a solutions?focused mindset, and
maintains exceptional documentation and organizational standards.
They show leadership through accountability, integrity, and
collaboration, working effectively both independently and within a

facility operations that keep our data centers running efficiently
and reliably. Job Description This position is ineligible for visa
sponsorship. To be considered for this role, you must be legally
authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship
for employment now or in the future. Serves as an integral member
of the team, specializing in a defined operational function. Works
closely with cross ? functional leads to coordinate and support
deployment activities, ensuring the effective and efficient
deployment, decommissioning, and migration of hardware. Drive or
assists in the coordination and technical project management of
team workload, including change control, resolution of stakeholder
issues, resources, schedules, and timelines to ensure that
implementation is on track for overall project success and
reporting. Escalation point of contact for layer one leadership,
technical assistance, and hardware deployment support. Develops,
Maintains, and oversees MOPS for installations and maintenance of
critical facilities and structured cable plant. Experience placing
devices in cabinets using KW availability, physical space, cooling,
port availability, structured cable plant and application device
requirements. Experience on how equipment shall be placed within
the cabinet initiated with hot-cold orientation to effectively
manage the thermal environment and maximize device specifications
and capabilities. Experience on full life cycle of install & decom
processes of rack mountable equipment (severs, switches, storage,
firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices) in headend
and data center environment. Creates design specifications and
works directly with vendor(s) for RFP (Request for Proposal)
quotations for infrastructure and deployment staff Core
Responsibilities Manage rack, stack, power & cabling of equipment
within the critical facility. Interfacing with vendors to install,
maintain, troubleshoot and decom related equipment. Maintain and
troubleshoot cabling infrastructure and day to day capacity
requirements. Streamlining Methods and Procedure for day-to-day
operational effectiveness. Manage DCIM environment for accuracy
(cable running lists, and records of deployed equipment.) Inventory
management of copper, fiber, and power cord with little to no
guidance. Responsible for the logistics of shipping/receiving
hardware to critical facility in warehouse tools. Provide risk and
quality assessments of deployment project plans. Available 24/7 via
phone Qualifications/Experience: Five plus years of experience in
deployment and installation of switches, routers, and servers Five
plus years of experience in High-Speed Data, Voice, IP, and Data
Networking. Knowledge of all aspects of power generation and power
distribution including facility and cabinet based PDU’s, ATS’s, and
UPS’s. Diverse knowledge of Power & HVAC data center dynamics.
Proven experience to effectively plan project installations and
forecast infrastructure growth – including deployment accuracy,
ordering supplies, maintaining inventory control, and documenting
processes. Basic knowledge of all current types of networking and
server hardware. Demonstrated experience of documenting &
developing policies and procedures. Proven project management,
analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities. Superior
interpersonal skills with the ability to work with vendors,
employees, and management. Effective leadership skills to resolve
conflicts and retain high morale. Good personal computer skills.
Some travel required Demonstrated success in the following core
competencies: Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) &
Ticketing Application Tools Vendor management, material ordering,
and project implementation. Ability and willingness to adapt and
accept change with strong decision-making skills to complete
project successfully. Strong team working skills; Develop and
maintain excellent leadership skills including proactive, customer
service oriented working relationships with all appropriate levels
