Schedule/Shift : Full-time, Monday-Friday hybrid with possibility
of remote. Location: Salem, OR. Travel will be required for this
role. The HR Business Partner will facilitate, manage, develop and
implement policies, programs and procedures according to Mission’s
core values and principles, acting as a true business partner for
the organization. Responsibilities: Develop and administer
progressive discipline policy and procedures. Own HR Inbox, respond
to employee and leader inquiries daily and/or forward any action to
appropriate HR operational group for immediate action. Supports the
Employee Engagement Manager with projects and initiatives relating
to the employee life cycle experience. Support incoming phone
inquiries from the administration desk. Support Sfax inquiries.
Support Zendesk tickets. Support the Farewell process and the
termination process. Provide cross-function support to the HR team
when required. Keep up to date with latest HR trends and best
practices. Builds partnerships with all levels of employees from
individuals to teams, from entry-level to executive leadership.
Recommend and implement strategies to motivate employees. Conducts
exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and
concerns with senior management. Coaches and advises staff on
solving problems and implementing resolutions for performance
management challenges; provides guidance on corrective actions,
corporate policy interpretation, and other workplace human
resources challenges. Participates in and supports the
documentation of investigations of workplace complaints and
allegations such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation,
hostile work environment, and policy violations. Ensures staff
receive regular performance feedback, prompt resolution, and the
time and opportunity to grow professionally. Presents and trains on
HR-related content and curriculum –through formal corporate
instructor led trainings, small-group facilitated dialogues, and
through one-on-one mentoring sessions. Qualifications: A bachelor’s
degree in human resources preferred. Professional HR certification
preferred. 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Strong communication skills, particularly in the ability to lead
training and to conduct meetings. Knowledgeable about California
and Federal Employment Laws. Outstanding professional writing
skills and the ability to tailor communication style to reflect the
voice of the organization and its leadership for different
communications and audiences. Ability to remain positive and
resilient while working under pressure and against deadlines.
