Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit healthcare network spanning
Oregon and Washington, seeks a compassionate and skilled Behavioral
Health Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal
in supporting our community health initiatives, especially in the
management and care of patients with behavioral health challenges.
Located within our outpatient and inpatient facilities, the
Behavioral Health Assistant will work under the direction of
licensed mental health professionals to provide consistent,
responsive care and to aide in therapeutic activities. Assist in
the implementation of individual treatment plans for patients under
professional direction Monitor and report on the mental status and
well-being of patients Engage with patients by facilitating
therapeutic and recreational activities Maintain detailed records
of patient interactions and progress Support mental health
professionals during therapy sessions and consultations Ensure a
safe, clean, and orderly environment for patients Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with diverse
populations Knowledge of therapeutic intervention techniques Crisis
intervention skills Proficiency in maintaining patient records
