Prepare operating rooms for surgery: ensure all necessary supplies and sterile equipment are available and in working order. Assist in surgery by passing instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and surgeon assistants. Maintain a sterile environment to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Operate sterilizers, lights, or suction machines, and help prepare patients for surgery. Complete documentation and care of specimens. Assist in the turnover of operating rooms post-surgery. Proficiency in sterilization techniques Ability to handle surgical instruments safely Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Adaptability to different work environments and teams Thorough understanding of surgical procedures and medical terminology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
