Cath Lab Tech Location: Portland, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,199 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Oregon state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI Must-Have: - Experienced in both Cath Lab & Angio with scrub experience Description: Ideal candidates are experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience. Local travelers are accepted. Call is required about one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks. No requests for time off in the first two weeks are allowed. A maximum of seven days of time off is permitted thereafter. Refusal to float as requested will result in cancellation of the contract. Travelers are required to complete any education assigned within one week of assignment. Cancellation terms for low census require a notice of 1.5 hours before the start of a shift. Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty. Scrub experience is required as the position involves being the first assistant to the operator. Responsibilities include complex cardiac interventions utilizing specialized equipment. Special equipment used includes OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, and drug-coated balloons. Duties also include procedures such as the insertion of devices and equipment preparation. Daily census includes adult and geriatric patients in a fully equipped lab. The unit features dedicated staff for turnover and support seven days a week. Flexibility with floating within a site and across the system is expected. References from a charge, supervisor, or manager are required for consideration. No felony background hits are acceptable. Compliance documentation is required before starting the position.
