Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Roseburg, Oregon, 97471! Pay
Information $2,560 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN (Registered
Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required
License: License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, STABLE
Must-Have: Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR for
cesarean sections Description: Auto offer based on prescreen
recommendation. No OR license is needed at the time of submittal. A
90-day emergency license can be requested upon offer. Unit has 9
Labor and Delivery beds. There is 1 OR suite and 2 triage beds. The
unit has 4 postpartum beds. The unit averages 850-900 births per
year. Ratios follow AWHONN guidelines. RNs are required to titrate
drips. Common titratable and set rate drips include Pitocin, LR,
Fentanyl, and Labetalol. Charge Nurse and House Supervisor roles
are both available. OB Technicians are present on the unit. There
is no in-house OB/Neonatologist 24/7. The unit is equipped with 2
vents and 2 Bubble CPAPs. Telemetry is available, and RNs read
strips in OB. Monitor techs are available if continuous monitoring
is required. The EFM system in use is GE Centricity. Shifts are 12
hours with yearly core schedules. Every other weekend is required
or one weekend based on seniority. Holiday requirements follow the
ONA contract. There is a floating requirement only in emergency
situations. Scrubs are provided in purple color.
Unit/department-specific orientation is completed for all new and
incoming employees. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per
13-week assignment and 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks.
Charting system used is Meditech. BSN is not required. Trauma level
is unspecified. Care setting is acute. Division is nursing. Nights
are scheduled from 1845 to 0715 every other weekend.
