Marketing Manager PageWide Industrial Printing (PWI) is HP's division delivering inkjet web press solutions, leading the way in a growing digital print category for high volume, production inkjet printers. These high-speed, high quality devices, which can be as big as a bus, are creating new opportunities for digital color print. They allow our customers (print service providers) to grow their businesses by producing high volume, yet personalized applications with high productivity and low running cost, that fundamentally reduce waste and improve profitability. PageWide inkjet is aimed to transform publishing, commercial and personalized communication segments by accelerating the analog-to-digital transformation in spaces where inkjet provides added value. These benefits include more targeted communication to end users, a simplification in customer operations, and offer a better match for production volumes for customer demand in a very agile way. PWI thrives in a segment focused, business to business market with great opportunities for customer interaction. The worldwide PWI Partner Solutions Product Marketing Manager is an individual contributor role that reports to the PWI Commercial Global Marketing Manager. Description The partner solutions product marketing manager will enable and manage 3rd party partner solutions, primarily finishing and media partners, within PWI. The vast majority of our press sales include integrated finishing solutions, and these can be complex. This business/technical/ marketing role is key to enabling the right solution with the right partner across publishing, high- volume commercial, and personalized communication segments globally. This role builds relationships with 3rd party finishing vendors, may negotiate or amend current contracts, seeks to understand the value they add to our solutions, and assists with the resale and training of these solutions with PWI presses. Comparing and positioning why solution A v B is recommended, and how that supports and strengthens our value proposition driving quality, proven productivity, unrivaled versatility and compelling economics for our customers. He or she will work with partners, engineering, operations, solutions, category and sales to set priorities, define requirements, determine pricing, deliver go-to-market product and solution launches, and support sales to meet and exceed forecasts. As Partner solutions play a large role in our solutions, he or she will manage key finishing partners that add value to our overall portfolio of solution offerings, driving value to the printed page and making it easy for our customers to grow and expand. Responsibilities * Product marketing responsibilities will combine managing partner enabled solutions as well as HP product portfolio across press hardware and supplies. * Product Marketing ownership enabling PWI to successfully resale, integrate and support 3rd party finishing solutions, including product positioning, pricing, competitive comparisons, benchmarking, demonstrations, creation of sales tools, and all things that generate awareness and demand for end-to-end solutions. * Build Product Marketing Plan and deliverables (positioning, reseller programs and contracts, training, sales tools, success stories, competitive analysis, end-of-life planning, launch bulletins) for 3rd party finishing partner solutions inline and nearline with PWI Products. * Build compelling product launch kits * Build and manage win-win relationships with 3rd party finishing partners. * Manage elements of hp's inkjet product portfolio, defining features and priorities, roadmap, and forecasts meeting product life cycle requirements, including and messaging the 4 p's of marketing (product, price, place and promotion). * Build compelling product messaging across segments (publishing, direct mail, transaction and high-volume commercial), supporting category and sales, driving strong revenue for HP. * Deliver finishing product and hp product portfolio recommendations to regional sales and service teams, channel partners, and within the global business team (GBU) * Support customer, channel and sales requests on 3rd party finishing partner related items, help facilitate step of sale * Support tradeshows, events, open houses, and customer product demos * Support HP regions and channel partners through step of sale Required_Skills * College degree in Business / Graphics / Engineering / Marketing, master's degree preferred * 10 years of experience with 3-5+ years in product management/marketing * Strong process and organizational skills * Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills * Excellent influencing, consensus-building and conflict-resolution skills * Negotiation skills, desired * Familiarity with industrial printing markets, desired * Technical knowledge of inkjet products, workflow, media and/or finishing solutions, desired
